Picked up a nail or screw? In many cases the tyre can be repaired rather than replaced. We carry out proper puncture repairs on site, at home, at work or at the roadside, and we will tell you honestly if a repair is not safe.
Whether a puncture can be repaired depends on where the damage is and the condition of the tyre. We follow the British Standard repair limits, so we only repair a tyre when it is safe to.
If a repair is not safe we will show you why and can fit a replacement tyre on the same visit, as we carry premium, mid-range and budget tyres in the van.
We remove the tyre from the wheel to check the inside for damage, then carry out an internal plug-and-patch repair. A string plug pushed in from the outside, or a can of sealant, is a temporary get-you-home fix. Our repair is permanent and the wheel is balanced and torqued before we leave.
Yes. We use the same internal plug-and-patch method a tyre centre would, with the tyre removed from the wheel and inspected inside.
It depends on the tyre manufacturer and how far it was driven after losing pressure. Tell us the tyre make when you call and we will advise.
We will show you the damage and can fit a new tyre on the same visit, as we carry premium, mid-range and budget tyres.
